Handprint on the Arctic

“We humans change the Arctic. We leave our handprint there. And it is up to everyone involved what their handprint looks like.

During a workshop in Iceland, I learned a lot about the Arctic from different perspectives, about indigenous communities, history, geo-politics and of course Arctic climate change.

This drawing is inspired by artwork made from seismometer records (used to measure earthquakes). A really important measure on an island with such impressive volcanic activity.”
