Tromsø, Norway
The Arctic Frontiers Administration has, since 2007, organized the annual Arctic Frontiers conference in Tromsø, which gathers scientists, businesses, policymakers and representative of local and indigenous peoples for holistic discussions about the future of the Arctic region.
At Arctic Frontiers 2025: Beyond Borders, there will be seven science themes. These represent the latest developments in Arctic research and span the physical and social sciences, as well as technological developments and innovative methods. Each theme is co-organised by a session committee and led by scientists from our partner organisations.
The joint PolarRES and BIPOLE session ‘Climate Model Data to Assess Climate Impacts, Adaptation and Mitigation Strategies‘ will be co-organised by PolarRES researchers Priscilla Mooney (NORCE) and Nadine Johnston (British Antarctic Survey).
